HOW TO USE LUMINANCER Luminancer works best in dark or evenly lit environments. Optimum results can be achieved when the brightest spots are isolated in the frame (i.e. candle flame, headlight, flashlight) INDEX 3 - Snapshot
--------------------------------------------- Camera view is the default starting point of Luminancer without using any options or effects. For beginners, we recommend you experiment in this mode first with any bright light source. Note: This is the easiest mode for Light Painting. Pressing the Snapshot
![]() To write with light use a small bright light source that is not pointed directly at the lens. Pointing directly at the lense may cause an unwanted light flare. The Preview mode (by pressing
1. Turn Rays on and off for radial light effects 2. Show all FILTER options [NEW 1.1] 3. Save the image that you see on screen 4. Start over by clicking DONE (goes back to default video view) ![]() Luminancer makes it easier to generate pre-determined settings or filters (below) to enhance your images. MODE -> Sliding your finger to the left reveals the toolbar and blending mode controls. Use these controls to select defferent blending options. See below for blend MODE. ![]() Different blend modes can be cycled by pressing the up or down arrows. Pressing the [def]ault button will restore the default blend mode.
The SAVE button will launch the save and export view to your photo library, Flickr and Facebook.

The OPTIONS Along the top edge of the screen is a series of effect options. ![]() The LIGHT button will toggle between The COLOR button toggles between 3 options that changes the animation color: The TRAILS button toggles the animation effect. Current options are: Bottom of the screen: ![]() The cyan colored [F]ade button controls how long it takes for the pixel color values to fade back to it's normal color. Pressing the button will expand a slider control to the right -->. This will effect the length of the trails. The magenta colored [L]evel button adjusts the level at which the bright pixels start being processed. Pressing the button will expand a slider control to the right -->.
